Three villas in Choeng Mon

Three identical villas we are building for a client

This is a project of three identical villas in Choeng Mon, on the north-east coast of Koh Samui. We are building it for a client, and our role is the building work. A larger fourth villa is also part of the project; its design is still to come. The project is at design stage. We shared the first renders of the three villas in July 2026, and the conceptual exterior and interior design was issued on 30 July 2026. Each villa has two floors, three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a private pool of 6 by 3 metres. White walls with tall arched windows face the street, and the living room rises through two floors. We shared video renders on 2 October 2026. All images here are design renders, and details may change.

What this project is

This is a project of three identical villas in Choeng Mon, on the north-east coast of Koh Samui. We are building it for a client, and our role is the building work. It is the client's project; we do not own it.

On Instagram: Our Instagram post of 10 July 2026, with the first renders of the three villas.

A larger fourth villa is also part of the project. Its design is still to come, so we say nothing more about it here.

The project is at design stage. We shared the first renders of the three villas in July 2026. A conceptual exterior and interior design followed on 30 July 2026, and video renders on 2 October 2026.

Double-height living space

Each villa has two floors and white rendered walls. Tall arched windows face the street, and the terraces have planters.

Design render. The double-height living room.

The living area sits 0.80 m below the rest of the ground floor, so you step down into it. Above it is a double-height void: open space with no floor over it, so the room rises through both floors. A two-storey window wall fills it with light. The renders show a stone feature wall in this room.

Layout of each villa

All three villas share one layout. A private pool of 6 by 3 metres, 1.20 m deep, sits in front of a covered terrace. A carport sits beside the pool. The road in front is 4 m wide.

On the ground floor, the open living, dining and kitchen area is 45.71 m². It has a kitchen island and dining for six. There is also a pantry, a store of 4.25 m² and a pool equipment room.

Bedroom 1 is also on the ground floor, at 11.19 m², with bathroom 1 of 4.20 m².

Upstairs, bedroom 2 is 13.42 m², with bathroom 2 of 5.13 m². Bedroom 3 is 16.88 m², with bathroom 3 of 4.83 m². It opens onto a balcony with a freestanding bath and a planter. A landing looks over the void and has an arched window. That makes three bedrooms and three bathrooms in each villa.

In section, the first floor sits at 3.50 m and the top of the wall at about 6.70 m. The renders also show walk-in wardrobes in the bedrooms and a fitted kitchen.

Facade choices still open

The design team is still weighing two options for the front. The first is a wall that projects 90 cm from the building and rises into a canopy frame, for privacy. The second is a timber-slat screen, which does the same job. We will update this page when the choice is made.

Renders, not a finished building

Every image on this page is a design render or a conceptual plan. Renders are drawings made before building. They show the intended design, not a building that stands today, and details may change. Our guide to how a render turns into a real building explains the gap.

Thinking of building a villa?

A private pool and a double-height room both change the plan and the budget. Start with what it costs to build a villa on Koh Samui and how to choose a builder on Koh Samui. Or read about building with us and talk to us about a build.

Name check

This is the project of three villas in Choeng Mon. It is separate from A villa in Maenam, the hillside sea-view villa we are building for a client, which is 385 m² and started in December 2025. It is also separate from Three villas in Maenam and A two-bedroom villa in Maenam.
