Hotel we are building for a client

This is a 14-unit hotel we are building for a client in Chaweng, Koh Samui. It is the client's hotel; our role is the building work. We cleared the land in July 2025, then dug and poured the foundations. Through the autumn we built the concrete frame floor by floor, and in November 2025 we began the inner and outer walls. By April 2026 the facade was taking shape outside and tiles were going in inside. In June 2026 we reported the hotel as nearing completion. We have shared each stage on our Instagram, from the cleared plot to the first interior fit-out. Chaweng is one of the nine areas of Koh Samui where we have built. This project shows the kind of building work we take on for clients, alongside South Beach Inn, the hotel we run ourselves in Thong Krut.

How the build has run

We started by clearing the plot and digging out the footings. Steel and concrete went in next, and the frame rose one floor at a time, with steel formwork set up for each new slab.

Once the frame was up, we built the inner and outer walls, starting from the ground floor. Then came the facade outside and the tiling inside.

Building a hotel for someone else

A hotel has to work for guests and staff from the first night. We build with that in mind, because we also run a hotel of our own, South Beach Inn in Thong Krut.

Our role

We are building this 14-unit hotel in Chaweng for a client, from land clearing and foundations to the frame, walls, facade and tiling. It is the client's hotel; we do not own it.
