Five-bedroom beachfront villa renovation
Queen of the South is a five-bedroom beachfront villa in Thong Krut, on the south coast of Koh Samui. Stellar Property Global is renovating the original three-bedroom beach house, changing the layout and adding a pool. Three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and toilets, and three have sea views. A shared shower room and toilet serves the other rooms. The infinity pool has a transparent glass edge and views of the ocean and Koh Tan, with an outdoor shower nearby. Inside are a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and chill-out and games areas. A rooftop terrace adds another outdoor space. We announced the renovation in April 2026; our September updates showed interior finishing work. The villa occupies a separate neighbouring plot to South Beach Inn and South Beach Resort and Beach Club.

From three bedrooms to five
We are renovating Queen of the South, a beach house in Thong Krut, from three bedrooms to five. We announced the project in April 2026. The work includes changes to the room layout, a new pool and refreshed living spaces.
The pool and ocean views
The infinity pool has a transparent glass edge, with views across the ocean towards Koh Tan. An outdoor shower serves the pool area. In May we shared the pool groundwork, and in July we showed concrete being poured around the pool terrace.

Upstairs, we opened a wall to bring the Koh Tan view into the room. Three of the villa’s five bedrooms have sea views.
Bedrooms and shared spaces
Three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and toilets. There is also one shared shower room and toilet. The villa includes a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, with separate places to relax and play.
The rooftop and games area
The rooftop terrace adds an outdoor place to spend time above the beach. The upstairs games area connects with the route to the rooftop. Our September update showed a soft beige finish here, alongside the terracotta tones used elsewhere in the villa.
Renovation progress
In August 2026 we were installing aluminium-framed windows. September updates showed the interior finishes and upstairs games area. The photographs on this page show work in progress; images labelled as design renders show the intended design.

Our neighbours in Thong Krut

Renovation announced
We announced plans to transform the three-bedroom beach house into a five-bedroom villa with a pool.
Bedroom and pool works
Construction updates showed work towards five bedrooms and groundwork for the ocean-view pool.
Opening up the view
We opened the upstairs wall towards Koh Tan and shared changes to the master bedroom entrance and rooftop terrace.
Pool terrace and living room
We shared the concrete pour around the pool terrace and a new arch feature in the living room.
Windows being installed
Aluminium-framed windows were being fitted.
Upstairs finishes
We shared the soft beige finish in the upstairs games area and rooftop access room.
