# Villa South Beach

3-bedroom pool villa with rooftop sauna

Laem Sor, Taling Ngam, Koh Samui, Thailand

![Pink checkerboard pool and house at Villa South Beach, Laem Sor, Koh Samui](/api/media/file/mcp-4f673cc6c4071b0174b367de18acc9ac-m016-villa-south-beach-hero.webp?prefix=recovery%2Fb454bea6-8cc1-42a9-b40a-b215f3b01d04&2026-10-10T06%3A05%3A49.954Z)

Villa South Beach is a three-bedroom private pool villa in Laem Sor, Taling Ngam, on the south-west coast of Koh Samui. It is a private holiday villa, separate from South Beach Inn and South Beach Resort and Beach Club. We renovated it and added a second floor, and we run it as a holiday rental through ATS Luxury Stays, the rental side of our business. It has three king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and sleeps six. A private garage takes a car or scooters. Upstairs, a terrace with a sauna and an outdoor bath looks over the jungle. Laem Sor Beach is a five-minute walk away. In October 2026 the listing held a 4.88 guest rating from 50 Airbnb reviews.

## Key facts

- **Bedrooms:** 3 (king beds, each with own bathroom)

- **Bathrooms:** 3

- **Sleeps:** 6 guests

- **Pool:** Private, pink-tiled

- **Rooftop:** Terrace with sauna and outdoor bath

- **Parking:** Private garage

- **Airbnb rating:** 4.88 from 50 reviews (October 2026)

- **Laem Sor Beach:** 5-minute walk

Villa South Beach is the pink one. We styled it with a nod to 1970s Miami and California: a pink-tiled pool, a cream and pink living room, and a gold bathroom with a pink toilet. Two separate guests have called it the "Barbie villa" in their reviews.

## The second floor

The biggest change was a second floor, which we added to the original house. Our before-and-after photos of the upstairs bedroom show the scale of the work.

Ground-floor bedrooms look out to the pool. Upstairs, the outlook is jungle.

## The rooftop

The terrace at the top has a sauna, an outdoor bath and sun loungers. Guests mention the pool and the sauna most often in their reviews.

One guest called the rooftop "unreal, with a sauna of all things." — Guest, Villa South Beach

## One of five villas in Laem Sor

Villa South Beach is one of five villas we built or renovated on one road in Laem Sor. The others are [Villa Malibu](/developments/villa-malibu), [Villa Miami](/developments/villa-miami), [Villa Palm Beach](/developments/villa-palm-beach) and [Villa Laguna Beach](/developments/villa-laguna-beach).

Our [guide to where to buy on Koh Samui](/articles/where-to-buy-koh-samui-area-guide) explains how this quiet south-west coast compares with the rest of the island. **Name check:** Villa South Beach is a private villa in Laem Sor. It is not [South Beach Inn](/developments/south-beach-inn), our boutique hotel on the beach in Thong Krut. It is not [South Beach Resort and Beach Club](/developments/south-beach-resort-and-beach-club) either, the resort we are building directly across from the inn.
